Malus ‘Trail’

The prairie hardy Trail is known as one of the best of the applecrabs. These egg-shaped, golden-fleshed apples are very juicy and crisp with a spicy sweet/tart flavour. Perfect for eating fresh or juicing and renowned for it’s cider qualities. Stores for up to two months in cold storage and ripens in early September. Bears fruit at a young age. Requires another apple within 150m (500’) for cross-pollination.

• Small golden-red apples with a spicy sweet flavour.

• Stores for up to 2 months in cold storage.

• Requires a different apple cultivar nearby for best pollination. Any of our apple trees will work.
