Forsythia 'Northern Gold'

The most hardy and earliest blooming forsythia. This old reliable favorite has bright golden-yellow blooms appearing before bright green foliage in early spring. Upright, spreading shrub. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil, but is drought tolerant once established.
