Dense, multi-stemmed, slow-growing evergreen with short, dark green needles. New purple-green cones mature to brown with symmetrical round shape. Resists winter burn and tolerates light shade. Prefers acidic, moist, well-drained soil. Adaptable and drought tolerant.
